Bluefin Insurance Group unveiled a new brand name for its broker business services arm at the Biba conference today.

Broker Partnership Services was renamed Bluefin Network with immediate effect. The company provides business services and advice to network member brokers in the areas of compliance, IT system, client money management, marketing, learning & development, human resources, acquisition funding and support.

Bluefin chief executive Stuart Reid (pictured) said: “The name change to Bluefin Network brings the Broker Partnership Services division firmly under the Bluefin umbrella.

“The network has a great opportunity with all the regulatory and market changes on the horizon and I am confident we will continue to build on our success.

“The ongoing collective support of our members has put us in a strong position to selectively expand our membership and further improve our proposition.”

Bluefin Network managing director David Hopwood said: “Our new name is a better reflection of the business and what we do. Our philosophy of partnership will, of course, remain the same.”
