Over the next four weeks SSP has pledged to visit each of the brokers affected by its outage who attended a meeting at Biba’s offices yesterday.

Brokers were invited to speak to the software house and get answers on what happened to their systems following an outage on 26 August.

The trade body said a frank discussion was held during the meeting.

Biba said: “[We] hosted a meeting on Monday between the senior SSP management team and two dozen affected Biba members. SSP made a presentation based around questions submitted in advance by attendees and then took questions from members present.

“A full and frank discussion was had around a range of issues and SSP pledged to visit each of the attending firms within the next two to four weeks.”

Biba reiterated its commitment to conducting a full and thorough review of the six leading software houses and to report the findings to members.
