MCE partners with Open GI is in five-year deal

Motorcycle broker MCE has signed a five-year deal with Open GI to increase operational efficiency through technology and grow its web business.

The deal covers MCE’s entire IT infrastructure for both its call centre and trading website, which was built by Open GI’s e-commerce team.

The specialist motorcycle broker employs over 170 people in Northampton and is targeting 30% growth in 2010 with the support of Open GI technology.

MCE director Julian Edwards said: “As we work hard to develop our product range and work on exciting, innovative new initiatives, it is imperative we have the latest efficiency saving technology.

"By partnering with Open GI, we are confident that we will be able to achieve substantial growth, whilst improving the overall customer experience with effortless end-to-end processing. It’s really the bespoke development projects that use our in depth understanding of bikers’ needs that will have the biggest impact on the business going forward, particularly at renewal.”

Simon Hughes, sales and marketing director at Open GI, said: “MCE are a hugely successful, IT savvy business with ambitious growth plans, so it’s great that we have formed a long term partnership.”
