Ryan Birbeck to lead AXA’s biggest sales team
AXA Commercial Lines has appointed Ryan Birbeck as its new London sales manager.
Birbeck joined AXA in 2005 on the graduate scheme and has worked in a number of roles across AXA Insurance, including underwriting and sales.
He was key account manager for some of AXA’s major corporate partner relationships before joining Amanda Blanc’s team when AXA Commercial Lines was launched last year.
AXA Commercial Lines chief executive Blanc said: “Ryan has proved himself over the last year as an outstanding member of my team and he has a strong customer and delivery focus. Leading the sales team in our largest office is a fantastic challenge for him.”
Birbeck added: “I am really looking forward to getting started in London. We are doing so many exciting things at AXA Commercial Lines and I want to make sure that we get our message across to brokers and provide them with the service they need.”
He will report to Linda Courtney, AXA’s London branch manager.
