Bluefin announces third 2010 acquisition
Bluefin has acquired the commercial broker Ross Lloyd.
The Carlisle-based broker has a GWP of around £5m and will continue to operate from their current offices.
Ross Lloyd managing director Cliff McKnespiey said: "‘We considered a number of options to secure the best future for our clients and employees and Bluefin came up with by far the best proposition. It’s a strong national brand which prides itself on good local service and I’m sure we will fit nicely into the organisation."
Bluefin chief executive Stuart Reid said: "Ross Lloyd has built up a solid business and an excellent reputation over the past 30 years and we are delighted to welcome them to the Bluefin group."
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
