Hoare, who will be based in the Nottingham area, will be working closely with Bluefin’s Commercial division managing director of business development Marshall Sugden to capitalise on the East Midlands market. He will also be focusing on specific professional markets in London and will receive support from Bluefin’s Lincoln office.

He joins Bluefin from The Wilson Organisation, where he served for more than 29 years, and helped create specialist products for the professional sector, primarily for solicitors and patents agents, but also acting as a servicing director to some 250 corporate clients.

Hoare said: “I am delighted to join Bluefin. Its powerful team, independent spirit and vast resource will provide outstanding levels of personal service to local businesses.”

Sugden said: “Simon will be key to our plans to establish a Bluefin presence in the East Midlands and brings with him a wealth of experience that will bring added value to our clients and will ensure we move our business forwards. I am very pleased to be welcoming him to our team.”
