Craig Sherwood joins broker from OAMPS in Australia
Broking group Bluefin has hired Craig Sherwood as branch director for its Milton Keynes branch.
He reports to Bluefin’s regional managing director for the central region Robin Thomson.
Sherwood joins Bluefin from Australian broker OAMPS, where he was district branch manager for the North Sydney and Parramatta branches.
Before this he was operations director for the South in Towergate’s retail broking division. He has also held senior positions with Arthur Marsh Insurance brokers, part of Cullum Capital Ventures.
Sherwood said: “Bluefin holds a very strong position in the Milton Keynes area and has great potential to expand further.
“The team here has excellent knowledge and an in-depth understanding of the local area and the insurance requirements of our clients, so I am very much looking forward to working with them to capitalise on the opportunities that exist.”
Thomson added: “We have significant opportunities in our Milton Keynes branch and appointing someone of Craig’s calibre demonstrates our commitment to growing our business in this region. Craig has a proven track record in developing people and growing businesses so I have every confidence in his skills to lead the branch and I look forward to working with him.”
