Brit has appointed Ernst & Young as its Group auditors.
Historically the Group has used to independent auditors to assess the Group and its syndicates. Mazars has now been dropped in favour of Ernst & Young.
The auditor will assume the function for the Group for 2005, it said. There will also be a detailed review of its audit requirements for 2006.
Mazars will remain as tax consultants to the Group.
