Current executives join insurer's two boards

Lloyd's insurer Brit has apponted four of its current executives to the boards of its two main underwriting platforms: Brit Insurance Limited and Brit Syndicates Limited.

Group chief operaing officer Malcolm Beane, UK chief executive Ray Cox, Brit Reinsurance chief executive and Syndicate 2987 active underwriter Jonathan Turner and global markets chief executive Matthew Wilson will all join both boards as directors, subject to regulatory approval.

“I am delighted to welcome Jonathan, Malcolm, Matthew and Ray to these boards," Brit group chief executive Dane Douetil said in a statement.

"Their considerable combined experience will be of immense value to meet the increasing challenges facing our industry, including those posed by Solvency II.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
