Alan Grove picks up the CII's Rutter Prize

Brit Insurance's Alan Groves, reinsurance contracts manager for its reinsurance business unit, has been awarded the Chartered Insurance Institute’s Rutter Prize.

The gold medal is awarded annually to the best new fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII).

Jonathan Turner, chief executive of Brit Reinsurance, said: “To achieve FCII status is a major achievement in itself. This award is added recognition of the dedication and enthusiasm Alan brings to Brit Insurance and our industry.

"His technical knowledge and desire to stay one step ahead of industry trends make him a thoroughly deserving recipient of the Rutter Prize.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
