Brit Insurance has appointed Keith Thorogood as personal accident underwriter. He joined the personal accident team on 20th August and is reporting to Paul Simmonds.

Thorogood has over 30 years’ experience in the London market and joins Brit Insurance from Catlin, where he held the same position for Syndicate 2003.

Mike Sibthorpe, CEO Brit Global Markets, commented: “Keith’s appointment is a major development for our personal accident offering and creates a team with nearly 100 years of London market experience between them. Keith is a leader in his field and we are delighted to have someone of his calibre on board as we continue to grow this account.”
