Denon Ambris joins Brit from Chubb

UK insurer Brit has appointed Denon Ambris as a liability underwriter in its Birmingham office. He reports to Rosie O’Gara, Brit’’s Central and South West regional manager.

Denon joins Brit Insurance from Chubb Insurance, where he was European sales training adviser, delivering training for all underwriting staff throughout the European branch network. Before that, he spent 21 years as an underwriter at Chubb and ACE specialising in liability classes. In his new role, Denon will be underwriting primary and excess standalone liability business, including large and complex risks, and will be working with brokers throughout the region.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
