Vivek Banga to focus on small business and personal lines
Brit Insurance has appointed Vivek Banga as UK distribution leader.
He takes up the role immediately and will report to Simon Cooter, director, UK market management and regional operations.
Banga has over a decade of experience in the UK insurance industry and joins Brit from NIG, where he was head of business development.
Cooter said: “Developing and maintaining market-leading online trading solutions, particularly in the small commercial and micro-SME market, has been a cornerstone of Brit Insurance’ s UK strategy in recent years.
"Vivek’s experience of working in this area – as well as developing traditional broking channels - make him the ideal choice to lead our offering and further develop our distribution strategy alongside our broker partners.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
