Lloyd's insurer appoints Nick Forti as divisional director
Brit Insurance has appointed Nick Forti as divisional director – financial risks, within its Brit Global Markets business.
Forti has worked for Brit Global Markets for two years, and was previously a senior underwriter within its Financial Institutions team. Prior to joining Brit Insurance, he was a facultative reinsurance broker at Benfield Group.
In his new role, he will take responsibility for the strategic management of the Financial Risks and Financial Institutions accounts and will report to Stephen Moss, who was recently appointed as portfolio director for Brit Global Markets’ long tail business.
Matthew Wilson, CEO of Brit Global Markets, said: “Nick has market-leading knowledge of this highly specialised area and his new appointment reflects our commitment to this area of our business. He will play a key role in the Division’s long term strategic development.”
