Brit Insurance has won JLT's Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) portfolio from Aviva.

JLT is one of the three REC appointed brokers. REC is the trade body for the £19.7bn private staffing and recruitment industry.

A spokeswoman for JLT said: "After many years of partnering with Aviva, 'This Recruitment' decided to switch to Brit to offer improved coverage and terms to REC members. We deal with REC members both on a direct and wholesale basis and it was judged that the move to Brit would serve both communities better."

Aviva and Brit declined to comment.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
