Peter Grocock to become head of Brit's Bristol operation
Brit Insurance has appointed Peter Grocock as head of its Bristol office.
Grocock, who takes up the position on the 11th January 2010, has joined Brit from The Jelf Group, where he was corporate client director, responsible for all aspects of service to major clients as well as having roles in compliance, operations and business planning.
He has over 25 years of commercial insurance sector experience and has spent the last eight years working in the Bristol market.
Rosie O’Gara, Central and South West regional manager at Brit Insurance, said: “There is significant opportunity for business development in South Wales and the South West of England and Peter’s knowledge of the Bristol marketplace, management experience and track record made him the obvious choice to lead the team and capitalise on its growth.”
