Eliot Powell leaves less than two years after selling out

Eliot Powell has left Oval, less than two years after he sold his business to the consolidator.

Oval acquired Liverpool-based Powell Insurance Brokers in October 2008. The business had a team of 40 people with turnover of £3.4m and gross written premiums in the region of £16m.

Oval managing director Jeff Herdman said: “Eliot Powell has left Oval. He is passing on the business to the existing management”.
