Five brokers to sell its telematics policies

Five brokers have agreed to sell the telematics motor insurance policies of Insurethebox and sister brand Drive Like a Girl.

The brokers will be the first to sell the policies, which had been sold directly since launching three years ago. Insurethebox sells 8,000 new policies every month.

The brokers are Cover4Students, Test Valley Insurance Service in Hampshire, Essex-based LG Insurance, Devon Direct and Midlands-based JustQuoteMe, which has created an app to sell the policies by iPhone.

“We are excited to have joined forces with our broker partners, all of whom share our vision of bringing affordable, socially responsible car insurance to the public, especially young people,” said Insurethebox business development manager Simon Rewell. “We are in talks with other like-minded firms and hope to make further announcements later this year.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
