Motor Trade Solutions, a broker-only facility for motor trade business, is set to launch on 1 June.

This will give brokers the opportunity to write insurance solutions specifically designed for the small motor trade market "more quickly and simply than ever before" claims the company.

The solution is to take over from Road Runner, the high profile motor trade provider, that has sold its products under one brand name to both the wholesale broker market and the direct market.

General manager Paul Inskip said: "Brokers have been demanding their own brand identity for some time. The marketing and distribution of the Road Runner brand to both channels was becoming more and more confusing for broker and customer alike.

"Motor Trade Solutions products will only be available through brokers," he added.

The new brand will be promoted under the 'Motor Trade Made Easy' banner.
