Brokers now have something new to compete for - the BIBA/Focus Solutions top technology award.
Focus Solutions has teamed up with the British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA) to launch the award that is intended to improve ties between brokers and technology solution providers.
Chief Executive of Focus Solutions John Streets commented: "Brokers are already beginning to embrace the benefits of technology in their everyday work. The bursary hopes to raise awareness of these advantages for end-users."
There will be a first prize of £2,000 and two runner-up prizes of £500.
Applicants must be BIBA members or affiliates. To enter they must write a 2,000 article on the subject: "Can technology change the broking world?"
