Budget Insurance is to use Quote and Buy's technology as part of its ecommerce strategy.
Budget will initially offer motor, ULR and breakdown cover from a panel of ten insurers on its site, www.budgetinsurance.uk.com.
Steve Loose of Budget said: “The internet distribution channel is still growing, so outsourcing our technological requirements at this stage buys us more time to develop our own telesales and retail systems in-house.”
There will be no up-front charge to Budget, but Quote and Buy will take a percentage of the commission of each policy sold via the system.
