Canopius lands Aon underwriter

Canopius has added Matt Bevan to its UK accident and health underwriting team.

Bevan will underwrite a specialist accident and health risks for Canopius Underwriting, reporting to Roger Perry who heads up the CUL A&H underwriting team.

Bevan is moving from Aon where he spent eight years, most recently managing a team as a senior personal accident and travel underwriter.

Canopius UK Retail chief executive, Tim Rolfe (pictured), said: “I am pleased to welcome Matt to Canopius. He brings considerable experience in the accident and health sector and will play a key role in helping us develop our regional UK accident and health business. This account forms a growing component of our UK retail product range.”
