Car thieves play to the audience

Budget Insurance Services has found a new solution to the problem of theft claims - catch the villians in the act.

Seems two thieves, trying to break into a car at the company's Peterborough call centre, were unaware that behind the office's smoked glass windows hundreds of call handlers were enjoying the sight of them plying their trade.

The police were called, the thieves were nicked and an insurance claim was saved - good thing, too, as apparently the car was insured through Budget.
