So Safeguard is closing its full broker service (19 September, Insurance Times). Motor homes and caravans are a specialist area. Caravan Guard deals direct with the policyholders so that it can obtain the fullest underwriting information and agree risk management measures with the owners.
However, we recognise that brokers need an ongoing revenue stream and, therefore, we continue to pay full annual renewal commission for the lifetime of the policy.
Many of our existing introducers are very happy with the way we operate and, although we deal direct, we recognise that at the end of the day the policyholders are the brokers' clients.
