I have just tried the CPD quiz, and I am not certain I have answered every question correctly (3 January, Insurance Times). But it got me thinking that if I have got some learning points out of this, then so will other members of staff.
I would like to email this quiz around my offices as an example of what is meant by competence.
I am thinking also of giving a small prize to the first (or most) correct answers received.
It should certainly give them something to think about, and may also be a pointer to my management as to how far, and seriously, we will have to go down the training and competence route.
