Michael Harper quits board for other commitments

Catlin director Michael Harper will resign from the board in July due to the demands of his other commitments and Bruce Carnegie-Brown has been appointed as a non-executive director from August 2010.

Carnegie-Brown was formerly managing partner and founder of 3i Group plc's quoted private equity team and was a member of 3i's Group Management Committee.

He previously served as chief executive officer of Marsh’s European and Middle Eastern operations. Prior to joining Marsh, he spent 18 years at JP Morgan in a variety of roles.
