CBG Group, the Manchester based insurance broker and financial adviser has acquired Swinburne James, a provider of general insurance broking services, and Swinburne James FS Limited a Financial Advisor.
CBG paid £1.192m in a mix of cash and shares, for the companies.
The insurance broking business of Swinburne James will be integrated into CBG Insurance Brokers and the financial services business will be integrated into CBG's financial advisor business.
CBG said Stephen Darcy of Swinburne James will join the board.
