Community Broking Group (CBG) has set its sights on becoming the leading consolidator in the North West.

The Manchester-based broker has changed its model to propel growth on the back of the acquisition of Fylde-based broker, ET Knagg.

CBG managing director, Martin Lewis, said: "We feel we have a significant critical mass in Manchester, which has been our aim so far.

"Now we are looking to move beyond that and into the North West. We are not yet looking beyond the region."

The broker has also struck a deal with IFA Kingsbridge Asset Management, which specialises in professional athletes.
