After months of adverse publicity for its service standards, leading insurer CGU is close to adopting a new claims management system.

Innovative Claims Management is a modular system that includes fraud, management capabilities and improved automation.

CGU is satisfied with the core elements of the technology, which is now undergoing benchmarking before contract finalisation.

CGU, which currently processes over £7 billion in general insurance claims every year, will employ the new system globally.
