Ken Hutchinson arrives at Lloyd's insurer Chaucer
Chaucer has appointed Ken Hutchinson as its new head of e-commerce.
Based in Whitstable, Hutchinson will develop Chaucer's electronic trading strategies for personal and commercial lines business by researching current and emerging technologies, and building on existing relationships with broker software suppliers.
He has over 20 years experience within the insurance sector, and spent the last 14 years as head of e-commerce at Groupama.
Hutchinson said: “I look forward to working with my new colleagues at Chaucer, to drive our e-commerce strategy forward and developing bespoke e-commerce solutions for our broking partners”.
Chris Dixon, head of motor division at Chaucer Insurance, added: “Chaucer Insurance is delighted that Ken has joined the UK Division in Whitstable. He brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise that will help drive our e-commerce activities and product delivery solutions”.
