Two promotions to boost broker relations

Chubb Insurance has created two new managerial posts within its London office.

Andy Francis has been named as the head of commercial insurance division and will be responsible for their commercial business operation. He joined Chubb in 1995 and has held a number of roles within the organisation including Birmingham branch manager and UK & Ireland marketing manager.

Ralf Rebetge has been appointed head of Chubb’s specialty insurance division, which incorporates the executive protection and financial lines businesses. He was previously underwriting manager of the financial institutions division at Chubb and has been with the company since 2000.

Both will report to Jeremy Miles, London branch manager at Chubb.

Miles said: “We are delighted to announce these managerial promotions. Offering a single point of senior level contact is vital to Chubb’s ongoing commitment to providing the very best in broker relations.

"The two new roles are very much ‘market-facing’ and both Andy and Ralf have a wealth of experience in this area. During their time in the industry, they have built up excellent reputations with brokers and both will play pivotal roles in ensuring that the London Branch continues to be successful in the years ahead.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
