Direct writer Churchill Insurance is opening a second claims unit, creating 120 new jobs, after taking over the lease of a former Commercial Union building in Ipswich.
The four-storey building will be renamed Churchill House.
The insurer has already recruited 76 staff who will start working in October.
Martin Long, chief executive, said: “Churchill is keen to strengthen its links with Ipswich, which started in July 1988 with the purchase of Anglia Countrywide.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
