Do claimant's have teeth? Well, for one insurer, the compensation culture took a new twist. An emergency call came through one Saturday night to Lawphone - Allianz Cornhill Legal Protection's 24-hour helpline that provides advice on any personal or commercial legal problem. The panicked claimant needed quick advice - he wanted to know if he could make a claim for his false teeth, which he had managed to lose in the back of a taxi.
Backchat was impressed that the Allianz operator could understand what he was saying at all.
