The Case Management Society of the United Kingdom (CMSUK) has published an updated Standards of Practice.

The standards establish a benchmark of best practice, educate the public and purchasers of case management services, promote professional development and enable case managers to fulfil their responsibilities, according to CMSUK.

Lord Hunt of Wirral, president of CMSUK, said: “For some time now there has been a need to set a valuable benchmark for those providers and purchasers working in case management.

“This has become more apparent of late as rehabilitation moves up the political agenda demanding a greater role for case managers.”
