David Stanley joins senior management team

Cobra Holdings has appointed David Stanley as chief operations officer.

Stanley will work alongside chief executive Steve Burrows and financial director Hannah Poulton, taking control of the operational side of the Cobra group.

Stanley has been working with Cobra for the past year as cover for financial director Hannah Poulton who returned from maternity leave this month. Previously, he led the flotation of Kuju PLC in 2002 and more recently has acted as a consultant for various AIM companies assisting with IPO’s, AIM listings, acquisitions, group integrations and re-organisations.

Steve Burrows said: “I am absolutely delighted that David has agreed to take on the COO role. I strongly believe that his appointment will make an immense difference to the future success of the Cobra group.

"The role has been created to boost the strength and experience of the Holdings management team and by working closely with me, to ensure that our ideas and strategies are followed through to full effect. We will undoubtedly function more effectively as a group.”

He added: “As the COO, David is charged with handling the short and long-term business and financial strategies of the Cobra group to ensure they are implemented effectively.

David’s financial and commercial experience at a senior level within other organisations has already been very influential in the 12 months he has been with us, and this new role will give him the opportunity to increase his contribution to COBRA even further."
