Appointment completes strong team to serve the UK broker market

Zurich has appointed Richard Coleman as head of personal lines for the UK broker division.

Coleman is currently Head of Navigators & General, Zurich’s yacht and motorboat insurance division and will continue to hold the position until a replacement has been appointed.

David W Smith, managing director of the broker division said: “Richard has done an excellent job in the last three years as Head of Navigators & General and we wish him well as he takes on the personal lines account, the largest sector within the Broker Division. This will provide a renewed focus for us as we drive this important account forward in a very challenging market.

“We now have a talented and energetic team focussed on making Zurich the leading insurer in the broker personal lines market.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
