Aggregator will make one customer into a millionaire

confused million giveaway

Confused has raised the stakes in the battle for aggregator market share by launching a prize draw that will give away £1m to one person who buys insurance through its site this summer.

Its £Million Mega Draw will also offer a weekly prize of £10,000 for 13 weeks.

The draw is open to anyone who buys a car, home, life or travel insurance policy from Confused.com before 30 September.

Confused is advertising the prize draw with a 30-second TV campaign that launched yesterday. Confused said the campaign was a “multi-million pound investment”.

The advert sees Confused mascot Brian the robot battle through the elements to deliver a giant million pound cheque, and is set to the Rawhide theme tune.

Marketing director Joby Rusell said: “We have had a lot of support and loyalty from our customers over the years since we launched Confused.com, and wanted to show our appreciation.

“We’re really excited that Brian is fronting this campaign - with his growing popularity amongst the general public, we thought he was the perfect vehicle to deliver the good news. In fact, we are not only giving away one million pounds, we are also giving our customers the chance to win one of our weekly prizes of £10,000.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
