Eight-year agreement in place

Congregational & General, the Bradford-based insurance company specialising in home and church products, has signed an eight-year agreement with SSP to replace its legacy system with the Sirius for Insurance (S4I) solution – becoming the fiftieth business to subscribe.

The new system will enhance congregational’s insurance processing including, full-cycle e-business trading facilities for its brokers and customers.

Matt Wood, head of business operations at congregational, said: “The implementation of this system secures a long-term relationship with SSP, provides us with many enhancements and supports our commitment to the intermediary market.”

Dean Richardson, head of sales at SSP said, “I am delighted that congregational has become the 50th insurer globally to adopt the S4I application.

"This is a real milestone which has resulted from the significant investment SSP has made in the technology along with the knowledge and talent in the UK Insurer Practice which has grown more than 300% in the last 9 months. This project demonstrates that SSP is a key partner for insurers in the UK.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
