Harry Driver replaces David Collett

Congregational & General Insurance has named Harry Driver as its new chairman following David Collett’s retirement. 

Driver (pictured above) has been a non executive director of Congregational for more than five years. 

Driver said: “I am both delighted and proud to have been appointed chairman of such a highly reputable and ambitious company.”

Collett added: “Harry has proven himself to be a natural choice as chairman, having vast insurance expertise and excellent leadership skills.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
