Converium has appointed Inga Beale as chief executive.
Beale will replace Terry G Clarke in the role in early 2006. Converium said Clarke will remain a member of the board.
Beale is currently chief executive and chairman of the board of GE Frankona Rückversicherungs AG, a unit of GE Insurance Solutions.
