Cooper Gay expands its London operations after hiring former Marsh chief operating officer.
Cooper Gay has strengthened its UK operations with the appointment of former Marsh director Iain Pickard as chief operating officer of Cooper Gay & Co.
Pickard will report to and support UK chief executive officer James Summers in managing the London operations.
Summers, said: “Iain’s appointment, I believe, again illustrates Cooper Gay’s ability to identify a resource need in the company and its ability to fill that need with talented, experienced individuals. I am delighted that Iain has joined the company as it will allow me and my team more time to provide first class broking and servicing support to our clients.”
Pickard was COO of the UK retail business at Marsh for three years, a role he took on after a career in the British Army
