Saxon Insurance boss Brian Wright has decided to fight a £15,000 damages claim. The case is over the level of premiums charged by his company Hill Arch for net-rated buildings insurance.

Brought by student lettings company Kexgill, it has has been listed for a full hearing at Hull County Court in June at the earliest, following a preliminary hearing last Friday.

At Friday's hearing, district judge Robert Hill was persuaded by Wright's lawyers that his name should be dropped from the case, leaving his company Hill Arch named as the defendant.

Wright is believed to have remained as

a director of insurance intermediary Hill Arch, despite selling off part of its book of business.
