Covéa has appointed Nicki Crabb (pictured) to the role of schemes development manager.

Crabb has previously held a variety of broker-facing roles and has a background in commercial insurance.

She has worked for both Zurich and Allianz.

This is the second schemes-related appointment that Covéa has announced this week. On Monday (11 December) the insurer revealed that it was making changes to its schemes team, with Carolyn Callan taking on the role of head of small businesses and schemes.

Commenting on Crabb’s appointment, Callan said: “I’m delighted to be able to welcome Nicki to the team; she has a wealth of experience and success in managing and developing broker relationships which will be absolutely key to her role as Schemes Development Manager. We have a strong schemes proposition at Covéa Insurance and Nicki will help drive this forward and develop relationships with new and existing schemes partners.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
