Compass Underwriting's new critical illness product offers coverage for more than 22 conditions.
Compass managing director Andrew Briant said advanced medical technology extended the survival of people with major medical conditions, increasing the need for cover that offers a lump sum at the time of illness.
“With increasing sales across the UK for this type of product, we're sure that our intermediary network will find it a useful addition,” he said.
