?When you’re the president and chief executive of the world’s biggest insurer it’s little wonder that your peers suffer a little of the green-eyed monster syndrome from time to time.

Martin Sullivan, boss of AIG, must be used to it by now having held the revered post for more than 10 years.

But, while most try to hide the fact that they long for the riches and rewards of leading such a weighty company, Peter Cullum is unsurprisingly not so bashful.

Asked recently who he would like to be if he were not himself, Cullum told his fellow panellists, including Sullivan, that he would like to be the AIG head honcho’s sidekick.

Surely it would be a duo to match any of the mighty partnerships. Batman and Robin, SuperTed and Spotty, Cagney and Lacey…

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
