Towergate founder and chairman Peter Cullum is well and truly part of that fraternity. In a recent list of the Top 25 UK properties published in an established home and property supplement, readers were invited through the keyhole to witness the opulence of the Cullum 'crib'.
The usual vast bedrooms, oak-panelling and marble were all on display but what amused some in the industry was his "copper bath" which cost a small fortune.
Backchat was told by one broker: "It was interesting addition to his bathroom. His nickname now is 'copper-bottomed Cullum'."
