Direct Line have signed a deal with information solutions company Experian to supply premium content to Direct Line's website.
Providing detailed 'local area reports', the website enables visitors to access a rich slice of information about local areas.
The Direct Line site will offer information on house prices, people profiles, the quality of local schools, cars people drive, and the range of recreational facilities available.
Direct Line spokesman Ian Hood said: "The idea behind adding local area reports to our website is to satisfy individuals' curiosity about where they live - or may be planning to move to - and the sort of people who live there."
