Domestic & General Group has announced the appointment of Nik Rochez as its new non-executive chairman.

The specialist provider of domestic appliance breakdown insurance services announced the appointment at its AGM.

Managing Director, Tim Scrivener, said: "Since Nik joined the Group board in August 2000, I would like to highlight his valuable contribution to the company.

"I am delighted to welcome Nik as the new Chairman of the Group and I look forward to working with him going forward."
