Three quakes in Papua province, one near Solomon Islands

Three powerful earthquakes have struck near the coast of Indonesia's Papua province within half an hour of each other, the BBC reports

A tsunami warning was issued but it has since been lifted.

Another earthquake, of lesser magnitude, struck close to the Solomon Islands. There were no immediate reports of casualties.
