Endurance today revealed it had estimated losses of $55.5m from a string of natural disasters.
The second quarter hit would be due to the Fort McMurray wildfires in Canada, the convective storms in Texas and Europe and the Kumamoto earthquake in Japan which collectively generated approximately $10 billion in industry losses.
The losses would come out of its Global Catastrophe Reinsurance business.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
